Back to School Lunch/ Dinners

Alright, Summer is over and it is time to get back to a daily routine. I know, it is hard after a summer of “no schedules” and eating out, but it is time to get back on track. For me, that is packing my lunch and planning out my weekly dinner meals. So, typing this out is helping me get back on track! Jump in with me! We can do this together! You will see below how I eat during the day. It is EASY, and YOU can do it too!!

Breakfast- Protein/ Fruit: Example combos- 2 Hardboiled Eggs/a piece of fruit, Greek Yogurt/Fruit, Cottage Cheese/Fruit, 2 Large Eggs/Fruit, Protein shake/fruit

Morning Snack- Examples: 12 almonds, string cheese, cashews

Lunch- Protein/ Veggie/Carb- Here is a sample daily menu for my first week! I am having Grilled Chicken / Broccoli / 1/4 cup of whole wheat couscous. Another example: Grilled Chicken, Sweet Potatoe, and small side salad with light dressing (2 tsp).

Afternoon Snack Protein Bar ( not too high in carbs)

Monday- Chicken Parmesan Casserole with Pasta

TuesdayArroz Con Pollo- Lightened Up– by SkinnyTaste

Wednesday – Church night- Chick-fil-A

Thursday- Beef and Broccoli-w/brown rice

Friday- Meatball Subs/ Burgers- Family Movie Night!
